Attaching RiveDrill To Your Drilling machine  (Any Brand)

A) Pull the external sleeve (1) to the front of the RiveDrill, exposing the drive shank (2).B) Insert drive shank into drill chuck as a drill bit. Tighten the chuck.C) Pull the external sleeve (4) for back to cover the drive shaft and chuck.

Operating RiveDrill

Caution: The external sleeve should be held during operation of RiveDrill. It is designed for protection against the rotating chuck when operating RiveDrill and should cover the chuck at all times.
D) Set your drill to reverse rotation. Depress the trigger switch until you hear a “clicking” sound from the RiveDrill.
E) Insert a rivet into the nosepiece, ensuring that the size of the rivet matches the size of the nosepiece. Do not force rivet into RiveDrill as this could cause damage.
F) Set your drill to forward rotation (low speed). Insert the rivet fully into your workpiece. Apply firm pressure to the drill and depress the trigger switch until the rivet pops.
G) To remove the rivets mandrel from the RiveDrill, set your drill to reverse rotation and depress the trigger switch until the mandrel is released from the nosepiece.

The hole should be 0.2mm to 0.4mm larger than theRivet diameter.

Recommended rivet sizes and rivet materials suitable for use with the RiveDrill Table 1 and Table 2.

WARNING: Using rivet sizes and materials not shown in these tables may damage the RiveDrill and will not be  covered by the warranty.

Do not use rivets "Z" greater than 10mm

To "Z" greater than10mm using model "RiveDrill HP”(career maximun traction 30mm)

Substituting Nose Pieces
First, eliminating pressure between jaws and nose piece.

Second, remove the nose piece. Each nose piece for each rivet.

Third, jaws move forward.

Operating RiveDrill in Corners
When applying rivets it is important to ensure that the mandrel is completely inside the nose piece of RiveDrill. This is especially important when applying rivets in corners or tight areas where it is not possible to keep RiveDrill perpendicular to the workpiece. Following this procedure will ensure the longevity of the jaws. Failure to do so may cause damage to the jaws.
